Teboho Mokoena

Soccer

Teboho, the founder of Teboho Mokoena Sports and Development Foundation, is a sports philanthropist who started his football career in the dusty streets of Thokoza.  He played for Cameroon Football Club before progressing to play soccer professionally in the PSL and for the National Squad at the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

We are honoured to have Teboho as an Ambassador. He is admired by many football players both in South Africa and around the world.  Teboho is also a very important part of the distribution process once the boots arrive in South Africa due to his connections with schools, local clubs and orphanages.

Courtney Horan

Rugby Union

Courtney hails from a legendary rugby family – her father had an illustrious career playing for the Wallabies and Queensland Rugby (he is still involved these days as a Commentator); and her brother is currently pursuing a professional international rugby career. Growing up around these influences has meant that sport has always been a big part of Courtney’s life – she has been exposed to many stakeholders of the game, especially players, and this has been a great help in terms of fundraising support for RePlay.

Courtney is currently studying a Masters in Secondary Teaching. After undergoing spinal surgery in 2018, she decided to clean out her footy shoes. This was when she connected with Sarah, the founder of RePlay. In 2019, she donated 70 pairs of footy boots and sneakers from all over Queensland.

Courtney has always been passionate about not-for-profit endeavours and she is over the moon about continuing her involvement in RePlay as an ambassador.

Angus Gardner

Rugby Union Referee

Angus is Australia’s top rugby union referee and the brother to Sarah, RePlay’s founder.  In 2018, he was awarded 'World Referee of the Year'.  As a referee, he travels the world adjudicating Tier One matches.

Angus has been a great supporter of RePlay right from the start and a valuable source of contacts and connections in the rugby and refereeing worlds. He also regularly travels to South Africa and is able to see where the boots are going first-hand.

“RePlay is such a simple concept, yet so effective in terms of its impact on others. I am proud to be an ambassador for this charity”.

Rhoda.jpg

Rhoda Mulaudzi

Soccer

Rhoda is an all-round legend. She represented South Africa at the FIFA Women's World Cup in France (2019) and is currently playing for Dinamo Minsk.

Rhoda grew up in the Limpopo province of South Africa and was the granddaughter to the King of the Venda people, making her a princess by title.  Despite her heritage, she played soccer barefoot up until the age of 14. As a result, she is incredibly passionate about our cause and is using her voice to incite change!

Rhoda is also a brand ambassador for Puma South Africa.

Millie Boyle

Rugby Union and Rugby League

Millie Boyle is a dual-code international for the Australian Jillaroos Rugby League and Australian Wallaroos Rugby Union teams.  At the age of 21, she has won a number of sporting accolades and is currently leading the way for women’s rugby.  We feel so honoured to have Millie join the RePlay team as our newest Ambassador.  She has such a bright future as an athlete, and we know we will be able to support her on this journey as she supports us with her kind and charitable heart.

“In providing sporting equipment to communities around the world, RePlay is harnessing the power of sport and this is something that really excites me.  Sport changes lives and I can’t wait to empower young children with my story and these donated resources”.

Dave Pocock

Rugby Union

"Through community work in Zimbabwe, I have seen first hand the importance of sport in school communities. For several years, I visited a rural town in Zimbabwe around the time of their big soccer and netball tournaments. The passion and enthusiasm shown by these rural kids, on a dirt pitch with no shoes, was something to behold - every goal led to a pitch invasion.

Growing up in Zimbabwe before moving to Australia and having the chance to play rugby professionally, means I'm also personally conscious of the opportunities sport can create. While not everyone will want to go on to compete professionally, I know sport plays an important role in giving hope, promoting inclusion and helping young people develop all kinds of critical skills.

RePlay are providing the resources for these kinds of opportunities and I'm pleased to be able to help them with their third shipment".

Every donation makes a significant impact.
